Veltz CD [SECRET PERFORMANCE] Veltz Produkts
This excellent release is back in stock !
his archive edition opens with the silent track “World is Loud.” VELTZ often shows a silent approach, but this track is VELTZ’s unique artistic response to the modern situation, which is filled with too much information and a disturbing atmosphere.
Also included is “Voltage controlled broken TV music,” which plays analog television with a very pop and pulse-tech noise-like approach, which was not included in “Dedicated to Analog TV,” and “VELTZ/OR,” a drone orchestra with six saxophones and a violin. , “Endless Summer,” a collaboration with Keitetsu Murai and Hisashi Nishihara, and “Tape recorders orchestra,” which uses only the minute noises emitted by the cassette tape recorder itself.
VELTZ’s theme of “reconstructing music using waste” is clearly expressed, and it is an important archive disc that serves as a bridge to a more pop-oriented future.

Wataru Kasahara CDR “PIANO SOLO 2009” Veltz Produkts
Originally released on CDR by Erinyes Record in 2009
Recorded on a cassette tape recorder, this document, coupled with its muffled texture, blurs the sense of the times. This reminds us of Asuhara, who faces alone with a decaying piano left in the sun-drenched courtyard of an abandoned house.

Kairai-Bunch CD [INDUSTREALISM] Veltz Produkts
After working with “Space Streakings,” the early version of “KAIRAI-BUNCH,” which was formed as a robot battle performance group, and RAICHU, a unit he formed with Chu Ishikawa, Ikuo Shimizu continues to work solo under the name “KAIRAI-BUNCH,” and has now completed his first collection of sound sources. Created through the use of a number of self-made instruments, which could also be considered musical weapons, the mechanical sounds they emit when flickering, rotating at high speed,
and being driven, are amplified and MIDI-controlled to form a sound that we must define as industrial techno music in the absolute truest sense. These vividly recorded tracks, meticulously composed and complemented with abundant photographs of the equipment, are a document that speaks of the continuing present progression of “industrealism”.

Osoyoos CS [Satellite Rides, Night Lies] Veltz Produkts
ltd to 100
Emerging from Tokyo’s avant-garde underground, Osoyoos is an acoustic experimental duo, the result of nearly two decades of musical collaboration between Cal Lyall and Yoshio Machida.
Using instruments like the banjo, steel pan, gamelan and Synthi AKS, Osoyoos’ sound transports listeners into dreamlike realms, resonating with memories of far-off lands. Like a mirage, their music is both elusive and captivating, beckoning to an ethereal “nowhere in particular.”

Yakouchu CD “Yakouchu” Veltz VLZ Produkt
Back in stock, released in 2015
First CD with this band that appeared on PSF Tokyo Flashback 6 in 2007 and toured since with Overhang Party, Keiko Higuchi. Centered around female singer Madoka (who sometimes has a low voice à la Maki Asakawa) and Louis Image guitar + drums and organ, music is rooted in psychedelism with a light touch of Quicksilver Messenger Service influence, or like White Heaven with dreamy mid tempos. For psychedelic life, psychedelic people, a new name to discover !

Toshi Ichiyanagi 2CD The beginning of Japanese electroacoustic – Sound 3
Okay that’s a bit pricey but it’s once again one the most interesting archival release on this incredible label. Tracks have “Parallel music”, the fantastic “Tokyo 1969” (the complete and long version) and “Music for living space”. Just essential if you are in the early years of NHK.
